The Team

Here is the picture of our bowling team...me, Ashley, Lowell and Scott. If you have no idea what this is about...see the "A Good Cause" post below. For those of you who don't want to look below...I did not join a real bowling team...this was for charity. We had so much fun...and can't wait for next year...don't you just love the "bowling" pose?!?!

It's that time again!!!

RODEO!!! Well...almost. We had our annual Safety Committee party this weekend and it was a blast, as usual. Katie got to hang out with her cousin Dani and Uncle Andy and Aunt ShaNayNay...which was way fun for her! And, we got to spend time catching up with rodeo peeps and listening and dancing to great music. Our table, as usual, was the most fun. We sat with Mimi and Gaga, Vickie (my sister) and friends, Tara and John, Susan and Toni...a whole bunch of trouble makers!!! Just kidding!

Here we are...love to break out the good ol cowboy hats!!!!

Good try Vickie...I cannot be fooled when you are trying to take a NASTY candid pic.

Me and my sis!

Tara and John...hamming it up!

Mimi and Gaga cuttin' a rug...so cute!

We had so much fun at our table. Susan decided that building a beer-amyd was a great plan...so here it is at its beginning stages...

And, the final product...a HUGE beer-amyd! (Just a side note: we stole some of these cans from other tables so that we could finish it...we are not THAT bad!)

And, here are some of us with Rick Trevino in front of our creation. He walked away from his autograph line to check out the beer-amyd and pose for a picture with us. Nice guy and great singer! We had such a fun time this year...can't wait for rodeo!!!

By the way...as we were walking out the door...our beer-amyd took a dive...so sad!

Stinky Sock!

Katie loves to take Daddy's socks and say "tinky, tinky sock"...it is just so darn cute I had to add it and include a picture of the stinky sock too!

A Good Cause!

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy participated in the HISD Bowl-a-Thon to raise money for Junior Achievement. I slept for the first hour, but once I woke up I had a blast! Running, playing, and socializing with all of Mommy and Daddy's teacher friends. Here are some bowling pictures...the batteries died before Mommy could get a team photo. But, she hopes to add one soon. A really fun time was had by all!

Is it really January?

It was such a beautiful weekend a couple of weekends back that we headed down to Kemah to enjoy the "spring-like" weather. Here is Katie posing with her Daddy.

Enough pictures...let's go!

I have gotten to the point where I REFUSE to hold hands...which is apparently not what Mommy and Daddy prefer. Guess it just solidifies the fact that I am a little independent. Mommy says that everyone already knew that the day that I was born...what is that supposed to mean?!?!?

Chug It!

Katie got ahold of an empty apple juice jug and showed us her impression of chug-a-lug! (Also note the absence of her feet...she kept tucking them up in her overalls...such a silly girl!)
