Kaitlyn loves this toy...but today she decided to tear it apart!

These Boots are Made for...Hmm!

With Rodeo Houston well on its way...I was in need of some boots. Mommy and Daddy went to the BBQ Cookoff last night and because I was such a good girl for Great Aunt Phyllis, I got my boots! Mommy did not really want pink...but the brown ones were very "boy". You will have to wait to see them on me until my Reba rodeo experience is posted next week.

Shopping Again

We went shopping again...but this time I wanted to lay down. Mommy just let me do what I needed so that she could get in and out!


 

I wish I could eat...

We had to go to Chili's today because our electricity went out...but I was not able to enjoy the yummy food. The spoons and toys were fun though!


Unfortunately, the bib was for drool, not food. That comes NEXT month!


 

Hold it!

I have learned some new tricks...and holding my bottle for an entire feeding is Mommy and Daddy's favorite. Especially in the morning when we are all trying to get ready for the day.



 

Shopping

We went shopping at the grocery store...and I am learning to sit in the cart like a champ.


That shopping wore me out! And the sideways hat is just from sitting in the carseat. This is not how I sport the hat!

Valentine's Day was so much fun! Daddy gave me this big red bear.


It was cold, so we had to layer up my cute outfit. But, mommy made it work.

With my mouth! And I am not just chewing the wheel, I really am turning it with my mouth!

If you know Katie's Mommy and Daddy, then you know that they love their baseball hats. Well, Katie appears to love them as well.

5 Months Old

Kaitlyn was 5 months old yesterday (2/11). She went to the doctor today because she is off on her scheduled visits. She had her "6 month" visit this month. So, she got 2 shots and they found ear infections in each ear. She is now on yummy Amoxicilin...which is all over her outfit in this picture if you look close enough. But, she seems to be doing fine other than that. She will be able to start food next month, and no sooner because of allergies, etc. She weighs 15 pounds and 3 ounces and is 25.5 inches long. Which is up there for a 5 month old. It is probably off the charts for her gestational age.

 

I've got control!

Kaitlyn got ahold of the remote control...what will Daddy do now?!

 

Money, Money, Money!

Kaitlyn is now officially wealthier than her Mommy and Daddy! And, she loves it!

 

I am SITTING!

Today Mom did her daily "let's see if Katie can sit yet" check...I surprised her and sat up for over 10 minutes. I am still a little hunched over, but you gotta start somewhere, right?!?! And, it was not a fluke...when she called Daddy in, I did it again!
