Lubbock or Bust!

We spent 3 days in Lubbock, which was very fun! We stayed with Amy, Jerry and Nicholas...they are really good friends of our family! We had lots of fun catching up and seeing Lubbock. If you haven't been there lately you would not even recognize the place! It is incredible!

We visited the Delta Gamma lodge and posed for pics. Mommy says that this will be a great picture to show the girls when I pledge in about 17 years! Anchors Away!

We also visited Texas Tech (Go Raiders!) and posed for some pics with the seal. Here I am with Nicholas, we are future Red Raiders for sure!

Here we are...me and Mommy, Nicholas and Amy, and another one of Mommy's good friends, Hilary. They all graduated from Tech!

I also had fun playing with Nicholas. It was the first time that I was the "big" kid...and I took full advantage of that. Sorry for taking your toys Nicho!

Quick Visit with Mommy's Nana

For those of you who don't remember...my Mommy's Nana went to Heaven the week before Mommy's bachelorette party, over 3 years ago. Mommy was able to go to the Memorial Service, but after much prayer and discussion it was decided that she would go on to her bach party and miss the grave side. Especially since her Nana was buried in Santa Anna, TX (central TX), not even close to the house that Mommy's friends had rented in Galveston. Nana would have wanted to be in Galveston with Mommy...she was a beach girl herself.

We were able to stop and visit Nana's grave on our way from Kerrville to Lubbock. Here I am sitting on the bench that marks the Jones family plot. Mommy's Nana was a Jones before she married my great-grandfather.

This is the back of Nana and Cozzy's grave stone. See, I told you she was a beach girl!

Mommy and I posed with Nana and Cozzy's stone, once we were properly introduced. (Don't mind the markings. They have her birth date wrong and have not put her death date yet...Big is getting that fixed as we speak!)

On to Kerrville!

We left Fred and headed to Kerrville for a night. We got to visit with my friend Bailey and his parents Shelly and Brandon. We sure do miss them!

Bailey was so nice to let me borrow his highchair!

Look Bailey, they are taking our picture!

There they go again, taking those pictures.

Here I am lounging with a big fish! Daddy says he could catch one like this...right!

Fredericksburg Fun!

When we left New Braunfels we headed to Fredericksburg to visit my Nana for 4 days. It was very relaxing and very fun. It rained quite a bit...but that didn't keep us down!

Here I am playing with the Dora car at Nana's house. This is a fun car!

Nana helped me figure out this giraffe toy...it is so fun!

My cousin Haley got to come play with me for a night...my other cousin, Ally, spent the night having one on one time with her mom. Haley and I had so much fun playing!

Woohoo! This is a fun vacation!

Where was Berit?

Glad you asked! Berit had to stay at a boarder while we were at the resort. No puppies allowed and we had much more traveling to do once we left New Braunfels. We couldn't leave her in Houston for two weeks!

Here she is when we picked her up...just a little mad! First, we left her at a boarder, she got a bath just before we picked her up, and she is wearing this dorky bandana! Don't blame her one bit!

Reunion- Day 3

Day 3 was great! The sun was out, the river was open, and we had FUN! Here is a picture of my Daddy (in the red hat), my aunt Nikki, and Daddy's cousins Amanda (in navy hat) and Matt. They had as much fun as I did in the pool!

I had a great time in the pool and also played with my toys by the pool when I got water logged!

We were tired of cooking...so we went to the Grist Mill for dinner on day 3. Kind of hot...but fun!

I had so much fun that I fell asleep with my Daddy. It was a good excuse for him to walk around and listen to the music at Gruene Hall.

Reunion- Day 2

It started looking up on day 2. No rain, the river went down, and the sun even came out in the afternoon! I went swimming in the pool with my Daddy! It was cold...but fun!

I also had fun chatting it up with the family. We just hung out by the pool and caught up on all of the family news (gossip!)

Gringo's friend, Willie, stopped by for a little while...do you guys recognize him? He got some funny stares...guess it was because he had me...I am pretty cute I guess!

Sam got buried in the volleyball pit...crazy kid.

The day ended with a huge family picture (I don't have that!) and a BBQ. Mommy was a little sick during the reunion...so we didn't get too many pictures. Here is a quick shot of some of the fam at the tables.
