16 Months

Katie is 16 months old today! She is still the same old silly little girl...but just bigger and more hair. Plus, she runs around constantly...so she is thinning out a bit. Her favorite thing to do is go outside and swing or slide. She brings her shoes or jacket up to me saying "Momma, Momma, etc." until I put them on her and open the back door. She makes it pretty hard on us if we don't let her go out and explore. She will just chase Berit and check out the neighbors through the fence. She has picked up quite a few new words and phrases...most of which we only understand. But, once explained, you could figure it out. Some of the best that she says are "wub you", which is my favorite, she says "stop" when she hears a dog barking (that is what we tell Berit), she says "ba time" (bath time), "yucky sock"...that one is interesting...but I will leave it up to your imagination. She also loves to dance and shake her little bottom when she hears music...especially marching bands, as in college football. Which, by the way, is her favorite (and only) thing to watch on tv. Pretty much...we love this kid...and she is more fun every day! Please continue to check back...she does blog-worthy stuff quite often!
